deepsleep is designed with privacy in mind. The core application — the sound mixer itself — works entirely in your browser and requires no account, no login, and no personal information to function.

Information you provide voluntarily

If you contact us via email, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and delete it once the matter is resolved.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect basic analytics data when you visit:

• Approximate geographic location (country/city level, not your exact address)

This data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Local storage

deepsleep uses your browser's local storage to remember your preferences — the sound themes you had active, your volume level, and your saved presets. This data never leaves your browser and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

2. Cookies & Tracking

deepsleep itself does not set any cookies. However, the following third-party services may set cookies when you interact with them:

• Ko-fi widget: If you choose to donate via the Ko-fi button, Ko-fi may set cookies for payment processing. This is governed by Ko-fi's own privacy policy.
• Future advertising: If we later display ads via Google AdSense, Google will set cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. You will have the option to opt out of personalized advertising via Google's ad settings.
• Vercel (hosting): Our hosting provider, Vercel, may collect basic request logs for operational purposes. These logs are retained for a short period and are not shared with us.

deepsleep uses the following third-party services:

• Vercel — Web hosting and CDN. Privacy policy
• Ko-fi — Voluntary donation processing. Privacy policy

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or any other invasive tracking methods.
